Recent surveys, including Real Time Big Data (late August/early September) and Paraná Pesquisas (mid-August), place Mendes first in consolidated first- and second-vote intentions at 27-52%, with Riva second at 26-34% and clear separation from the middle pack of Carlos Fávaro (PSD), Zé Medeiros (PL), and Pedro Taques (PSB) at 13-19%. Riva’s edge stems from stronger performance in second-vote scenarios and sustained support among women voters, while the October 4 election features two Senate seats elected in a single round with elevated undecided shares still shaping final positioning.
