**Recent polling averages place the SPD ahead of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen by roughly two percentage points in the final days before the 6 September 2026 Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election.** Surveys from Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Infratest dimap, and INSA in late August and early September consistently show the SPD at 7–9 percent and the Greens at 5–6 percent, preserving the gap observed throughout the campaign. Both parties face the five-percent threshold, yet the SPD has maintained a clearer margin above it while the Greens remain closer to the cutoff. No major late-campaign events or shifts have narrowed this difference in published data. The election outcome will be determined by official second-vote shares, and the current trader consensus reflects the stable polling lead for the SPD.
