Recent opinion polls from institutes including Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, INSA, and Infratest dimap show the SPD at 7–9 percent and the BSW at 3–5 percent in the days before the September 6 Landtag election. This consistent margin underpins trader consensus on the SPD receiving the larger share of votes. The BSW has remained near or below the five-percent threshold in most surveys, while the SPD has held a steadier position above it. Late shifts in turnout among smaller-party supporters or unexpected last-minute movements could narrow the gap, though such changes would need to exceed typical polling margins to reverse the outcome.
