United Russia maintains a strong lead in trader consensus for securing the most seats in the September 2026 State Duma election, reflecting its incumbency advantages, extensive regional organization, and the managed structure of Russian parliamentary contests that typically delivers it a large plurality. Recent polls from state-affiliated firms such as VCIOM and FOM show the party ahead on the party-list component, though with support in the low-to-mid 30s percent range amid wartime economic pressures, while New People has risen notably in some surveys as an alternative drawing protest votes within systemic bounds. The disqualification of Yabloko and limited shifts among other registered parties like LDPR and KPRF have not altered the underlying hierarchy, with single-mandate districts and administrative factors further reinforcing the expected outcome for the largest faction.
