Parliamentary elections to elect all 127 seats of the National Assembly of Quebec are scheduled to take place in Quebec on October 5, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the next Laviolette–Saint-Maurice Quebec National Assembly election for a full term beginning in October 2026 or thereafter. If the election results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Elections Quebec (https://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/).Élodie Murphy-Gauthier leads trader pricing in the Laviolette–Saint-Maurice race as the Parti Québécois candidate, reflecting the party's competitive or leading position in recent riding-level projections amid broader provincial trends favoring the PQ over the incumbent Coalition Avenir Québec. Guy Veillette, the CAQ nominee and former journalist serving as political attaché to the retiring MNA Marie-Louise Tardif, trails as the party seeks to defend a seat held since 2018 amid shifting voter preferences. Minor candidates including Charles Paquin of the Conservative Party and Laurent Bélisle of the Liberals register negligible implied probabilities consistent with historical support levels in the riding. The October 5 election date and ongoing nomination period through mid-September leave room for late campaign developments or turnout patterns to influence outcomes.
