Claude Reid, the Coalition Avenir Québec incumbent since 2018, leads trader pricing at 64% in the Beauharnois riding ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election. His position stems from repeated victories in the district, including 53.8% of the vote in 2022, combined with established local visibility and the party's organizational strength in the Montérégie region. Alexandre Daneau of the Parti Québécois sits at 32.5% following his June 2026 nomination win, reflecting the main opposition challenge but trailing in current projections around 34% support. Lower-priced options such as Liberal Charles Royer Tremblay at 6.5% and Conservative Angélika Homère at 2.4% align with limited recent polling momentum for those parties. Nomination deadlines close September 17, leaving limited room for new entrants to shift the field before election day.
