Recent polling averages place The Democrats, the Labor-Meretz alliance led by Yair Golan, near 9–10 Knesset seats ahead of the October 27 election, reflecting steady but modest support for the consolidated Zionist left. This range aligns with the market’s leading 8–9 and 10–11 outcomes as traders weigh consistent survey results against the fragmented opposition landscape, where competition from Yashar, Together, and Yisrael Beiteinu limits further gains. The party’s July primaries and calls for broader anti-Netanyahu coordination have not produced a clear polling breakout, while the broader right-left bloc balance remains fluid. Candidate list submissions due September 8 and final campaign dynamics on turnout and alliances could still shift the tally within or outside the current 8–11 window.
