Teresa Surita (MDB), Nicoletti (PL), and Helena da Asatur (PSD) remain the leading contenders for second place in Roraima’s October 4 Senate election, where voters select two senators amid a fragmented field of 13 candidates. A late-August Quaest poll showed the top three clustered within the margin of error at 19%, 17%, and 16% respectively when combining first- and second-choice responses, with Chico Rodrigues (PSB) at 11% and high spontaneous indecision at 67%. This closeness, combined with the mechanics of dual votes and potential late consolidation of undecided support or turnout shifts, sustains tight trader pricing around the frontrunners. Smaller candidates trail significantly, limiting their realistic paths to second place absent major last-minute developments.
