Recent AtlasIntel polling released September 3 shows Flávio Bolsonaro leading first-round preferences in Goiás at 38%, ahead of Lula and home-state figure Ronaldo Caiado, shifting trader assessments toward the PL nominee for the October 4 vote. As the Liberal Party standard-bearer endorsed by Jair Bolsonaro, Flávio benefits from consolidated right-leaning support in the Center-West agricultural region, where his campaign has emphasized public security and continuity with prior PL governance. Caiado’s earlier local advantage has narrowed amid national polarization, while Lula’s PT base remains more concentrated elsewhere. Minor candidates register negligible shares in available surveys. Traders price Flávio’s lead as the dominant factor heading into the final month, with limited scheduled events expected to alter state-level dynamics before ballots open.
