PL maintains a leading position in the Chamber of Deputies race due to its status as the largest current caucus with roughly 98 seats, strong state-level infrastructure, and effective candidate recruitment ahead of the October 4, 2026, vote under Brazil’s open-list proportional system. This setup rewards parties with broad name recognition and organizational reach, advantages PL has built since 2022 through alignment with right-wing voters. UPB, the federation combining União Brasil and Progressistas, trails with competitive but more fragmented representation near 98 seats combined, reflecting competition from other centrão groups and less unified mobilization. Recent convention deadlines and campaign starts have not produced major shifts, leaving structural incumbency and voter base dynamics as the primary drivers reflected in trader pricing. No other party exceeds low single-digit implied probabilities.
