Recent polling during the early stages of the October 5, 2026 Quebec general election campaign shows the Parti Conservateur du Québec holding steady at 13-16% support, with particular strength in the Quebec City region where its concentrated vote could translate into multiple wins. Seat projections from aggregators place the PCQ in a narrow band of roughly 5-11 seats, reflecting limited province-wide efficiency amid a fragmented field led by the Parti Québécois and challenged by the Coalition Avenir Québec and Liberals. Trader consensus on 8-13 seats remains tight because small shifts in regional turnout or vote splitting could push totals either direction, while the party’s platform focus on immigration powers and infrastructure has not yet produced a decisive breakthrough. Upcoming leaders’ debates and further regional polling may clarify whether PCQ support expands beyond its current base or stays contained.
