Official NWS forecasts and model consensus for Los Angeles on September 6 indicate a minimum temperature likely between 68–72°F, driven by a strengthening marine layer, increased cloud cover, and a 20–60% chance of showers that limit radiational cooling overnight. Recent climatological data show typical early-September lows near 64°F at LAX, but elevated dew points and light winds from the current pattern are supporting milder overnight readings. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around the 68–73°F bins because small variations in marine stratus timing or shower coverage could shift the exact minimum by 2–3°F, while historical extremes below 60°F remain unlikely under present conditions. Updated model runs and NWS briefings tonight will provide the next key data points.
