Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a high of 89–91°F for Denver on September 7, 2026, under mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms possible, driven by a warm air mass and light easterly flow that limits afternoon mixing. This places the outcome firmly above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 82.4°F for the date, consistent with the ongoing early-September warmth that has produced daily highs in the low-to-mid 90s. Ensemble guidance shows limited spread around these values, with any stronger instability or clearer skies as the main variables that could push readings into the low 90s. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the final maximum before the market resolves.
