Forecast models from NOAA and regional analyses indicate a mild high near 68–70°F for Seattle on September 5, driven by persistent marine layer influence, light northerly winds, and partial cloud cover that limits daytime heating in the Pacific Northwest. This setup aligns with trader emphasis on the 68–69°F and 66–67°F bins, reflecting consensus around observed afternoon peaks near 68°F amid 40–50% shower chances. Early September climatology favors highs near 73°F, yet recent cool advection has kept readings below average. Minor forecast spreads arise from exact timing of any clearing and urban heat island effects, with official observations expected to resolve the market by evening.
