**Current forecasts from sources like WeatherBug and aligned NOAA data indicate a partly sunny September 7 with highs most likely in the upper 60s to around 70°F, driving the market's concentration on the 68-71°F bins.** Seattle's marine climate, influenced by Pacific air and the Puget Sound, typically moderates daytime peaks near the long-term September 7 average of 72.6°F, while variable cloud cover and light southerly winds on the day can either enhance or suppress solar heating. Model runs two days out show modest spread due to uncertainties in exact timing of any marine layer or weak frontal features, which explains the probability distribution across 66-73°F outcomes. Traders weigh these short-range guidance updates heavily, as even small shifts in predicted maximum can resolve the market.
