Current National Weather Service and private model guidance point to overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s for Dallas on September 7 amid a stable high-pressure ridge, southerly winds of 5–10 mph, and mostly clear skies that limit radiational cooling. Dew points near 70°F and heat indices above 105°F during the day sustain elevated minimum temperatures, well above the early-September climatological average of roughly 73°F. With the market showing tight clustering around 80–85°F bins and no significant frontal passages or moisture surges expected before resolution, traders are weighting the consensus forecast heavily while leaving modest probability for modest model shifts or local observation differences at official stations. Updated NWS briefings and next model cycles remain the key near-term catalysts.
