**Trader consensus strongly favors a 74-75°F low in Atlanta on September 5, 2026, with 94% implied probability.** Official National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance project this minimum under persistently hot, humid conditions, with daytime highs near 99°F, dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s, light winds, and only partial overnight cloud cover or patchy fog limiting radiative cooling. This aligns with recent climatological trends of elevated nighttime temperatures during late-summer heat episodes, well above the early-September average low near 68°F. Resolution hinges on the official daily minimum recorded at Atlanta’s primary climate station. A realistic challenge would require rapid clearing combined with stronger boundary-layer mixing or drier air advection than currently modeled, though ensemble guidance shows limited support for such a shift before the overnight period ends.
