Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Miami indicate a high near 89°F on September 6, with mostly sunny skies giving way to showers and thunderstorms mainly after 4pm amid high atmospheric moisture and heat indices near 104°F. This pattern of afternoon convection, driven by sea-breeze convergence and subtropical instability, typically caps daytime maxima in the upper 80s to low 90s by increasing cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Model consensus from recent runs aligns with these conditions, positioning the 88–91°F range as the dominant market outcome while leaving limited room for outliers above 92°F absent unexpected suppression of storms or stronger subsidence. Updated NWS guidance overnight will provide the final observational context ahead of market resolution.
