Recent National Weather Service forecasts and Miami climatology position overnight lows in the upper 70s as the primary driver of market-implied odds, with 76-77°F leading at 46% amid typical early-September humidity and thunderstorm patterns that limit radiative cooling. Historical averages near 77°F, combined with recent daily minima of 75-78°F and model consensus showing no strong frontal passages or unusual advection, reinforce trader focus on this narrow range. Key resolution factors include official Miami International Airport observations, where persistent warm, moist air and light winds favor minima near 76-78°F rather than sharper drops. Updated evening model runs and any late-day convective activity could shift final readings within the 74-79°F band before midnight.
