Recent polling averages from firms including Novus, Demoskop, Indikator Opinion, and Ipsos place the Social Democrats first at roughly 29 percent, the Sweden Democrats second near 20 percent, and the Moderate Party third at about 17 percent, with all other parties well behind. This ordering has held steady across surveys through late August and early September despite a narrowing gap between the centre-left and right-leaning blocs. The Moderate Party’s consistent third-place standing in vote-share projections underpins trader consensus on its elevated probability for that outcome in the September 13 election, while limited movement in the Sweden Democrats’ numbers leaves room for a narrower chance of a shift in ranking. Smaller parties remain far from contention for third.
