Forecast models and real-time observations from the National Weather Service indicate a high near 71–72°F in Seattle today under partly cloudy skies, light NNW winds, and stable high pressure, aligning closely with the long-term September 6 average of 72.8°F. This seasonal pattern, without incoming troughs or ridging to drive anomalous warmth or cooling, underpins the 71% market-implied probability for 72–73°F. Nearby stations and short-range guidance show minimal spread, with only slight upside risk from localized solar heating under clearing skies. Traders appear to weight the tight model consensus heavily, as historical extremes above 80°F or below 65°F remain rare on this date absent major synoptic shifts.
