Current forecasts from National Weather Service affiliates and major models converge on a high near 93–95°F for Atlanta on September 6 under sunny skies with light northwest winds and only a slight afternoon storm chance. This setup follows an unusually warm September 5 (98°F) but features modest cooling from drier air and reduced insolation timing, keeping values well above the 86°F climatological average while below the 97°F all-time record. Trader consensus clusters on the 94–97°F bins because ensemble spreads and boundary-layer details introduce narrow uncertainty around the exact peak, with official Atlanta airport observations serving as the resolution source.
