This market will resolve to “Yes” if John Fetterman ceases to be U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of John Fetterman's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from John Fetterman and the U.S. government; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.A Wall Street Journal report published September 4, 2026, detailed Senator John Fetterman’s reported reluctance to attend constituent meetings, committee hearings, and in-state events, while prioritizing media appearances and Israel-related advocacy. The account drew sharp criticism from Pennsylvania Democrats, including calls for resignation from former Representative Conor Lamb and statements labeling the senator a “disgrace” from Representative Brendan Boyle. Polling shows Fetterman’s approval among Pennsylvania Democrats at roughly 19 percent, with many favoring his departure from the party, though Republicans remain supportive. No resignation has been announced, Fetterman’s term extends to 2029, and Senate records confirm he remains in office. Traders price low probabilities of departure by late 2026, reflecting the absence of formal steps and the senator’s prior rejection of party-switch or exit speculation. Potential 2028 primary challengers and further staff disclosures could influence longer-term positioning.
