Recent polling averages place Vänsterpartiet (V) narrowly ahead of Kristdemokraterna (KD) at roughly 7.7–8.1% versus 6.5–7.9%, consistent with V drawing modest transfers from Socialdemokraterna while KD holds steadier but lower support within the Tidö-aligned bloc. The September 13 election is now days away, and the overall left-right contest has tightened, with bloc margins under five points in the latest surveys. Traders appear to weigh V’s consistent edge in multiple pollsters against KD’s occasional spikes and the risk of last-minute shifts in smaller-party turnout. This produces the observed 55.5% implied probability favoring V receiving more votes.
