Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from Niagara Falls, Ontario.Incumbent Jim Diodati holds an 83.5% implied probability in the Niagara Falls, Ontario mayoral race because he is seeking a fifth consecutive term after winning 67% of the vote in 2022, with a track record of overseeing major development projects, economic initiatives, and infrastructure work since 2010. Nominations closed on August 21, 2026, leaving a field of five candidates that includes city councillor Lori Lococo, who entered late and prompted some others to withdraw amid concerns over vote splitting.
