Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and regional models indicate San Francisco's overnight low on September 6 will likely settle in the mid-50s, consistent with the 56°F September average and recent observations of upper-50s readings. Marine layer influence, persistent westerly winds, and limited daytime heating create tight clustering around 55–59°F outcomes, while slight model divergence on cloud cover timing and coastal advection introduces uncertainty for sub-50°F or 60°F+ extremes. Traders weigh these variables against historical September minima rarely dipping below 50°F, producing closely matched market-implied odds across the central range.
