Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate the overnight low for September 6 in Los Angeles will likely settle near 70°F, driven by persistent cloud cover, showers, and elevated dew points that limit radiational cooling. Marine-layer moisture and light winds further suppress temperature drops compared with clearer, drier nights typical for early September. These conditions differentiate the closely matched 68-69°F and 70-71°F market outcomes, as small variations in cloud timing or precipitation intensity could shift the minimum by 1–2°F. Historical September lows average around 64°F, underscoring how this warmer, more humid pattern has shifted trader consensus toward the upper end of the range.
