Persistent rain and extensive cloud cover across Taipei on September 6 have suppressed daytime heating, positioning official forecasts for a daily maximum near 25°C. Multiple model runs and Central Weather Administration guidance indicate overcast skies with widespread showers and thunderstorms, limiting solar insolation and keeping surface temperatures well below the September climatological average of around 31°C. Recent observations confirm temperatures holding in the mid-20s amid high humidity and light winds, with minimal diurnal rise expected. Trader consensus at 84% implied probability for 25°C reflects this strong alignment in short-range guidance, though slight upward revisions remain possible if breaks in cloud cover develop before peak heating.
