Current National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 6 project a high near 100°F under strengthening high pressure, sunny skies, and light southeast winds that limit mixing and sustain heat. This places the outcome near the boundary between the closely matched 98-99°F and 100-101°F market bins, with model consensus and recent observations of 99-101°F highs supporting the tight spread. Subtle differences hinge on exact peak timing, dew points near 70°F that boost heat indices above 105°F, and any late-day cloud cover or wind shifts that could trim the maximum by 1-2°F. Final resolution awaits official DFW Airport observations tomorrow evening.
