This range sits modestly above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 93.4°F for the date, supported by persistent southerly flow and high humidity that limits overnight cooling while sustaining afternoon heat indices near 104–106°F. Trader consensus on the 94–95°F and 96–97°F bins reflects this model agreement and the limited scope for significant cooling from scattered showers. Resolution will hinge on the official Austin-Bergstrom or Camp Mabry observation, with any final forecast adjustments from the evening model runs serving as the last potential catalyst before the market closes.
