Gubernatorial elections are currently scheduled to be held in Bratislava Region, Slovakia on October 24, 2026. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2026 Bratislava Region gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Bratislava Region and Slovakia, including the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (https://volby.statistics.sk/).Juraj Droba, the incumbent Bratislava Region governor since 2017 and candidate backed by the Team Bratislava-PS-SaS-Demokrati coalition, holds a commanding position in the October 24, 2026, election. May 2026 polling showed him leading with 47.8% support, more than double his nearest rival at the time. Recent candidate filings confirm a fragmented field of seven contenders, including the relatively low-profile Rastislav Gajarský of the governing Hlas party, with no other prominent challengers emerging to consolidate opposition votes.
