Recent polls ahead of the September 6, 2026, Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election show Die Linke holding steady third place with 11-12 percent support, well ahead of the SPD at 7-8.5 percent, the Greens at 5-6 percent, and BSW at around 4 percent. AfD leads at 41-43 percent and CDU follows at 22-23 percent, leaving Linke as the clear third-strongest force in voter surveys from institutes including Forschungsgruppe Wahlen and INSA. Smaller parties continue to hover near or below the 5 percent threshold, limiting their prospects for overtaking Linke. Trader consensus reflects this consistent polling gap, though final seat allocation depends on actual turnout and any last-minute shifts among undecided voters.
