Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Atlanta's overnight low on September 6 will likely settle in the low 70s amid partly cloudy skies, light easterly winds, and residual moisture from afternoon thunderstorms. This aligns with trader consensus favoring 72-73°F (68.5% implied probability) over cooler bins, as dew points near 70°F and limited radiational cooling under cloud cover suppress further drops. Historical September averages near 68°F provide context, yet persistent warm advection and heat indices above 100°F during the day have kept minimum temperatures elevated in recent observations. Updated model runs and any evening radar trends could refine the exact minimum before market resolution.
