Official temperature observations from National Weather Service stations in the Miami area recorded a daily maximum of 90–91°F on September 6, 2026, locking in market consensus at near-certainty for that bin. This value aligns with late-summer climatology for the region, where average highs hover near 90°F amid typical Atlantic high pressure, light steering winds, and moderate humidity that limits stronger afternoon heating or convective cooling. Recent model guidance and surface analyses showed no anomalous ridging or clear-sky conditions capable of pushing readings into the mid-90s, while scattered showers kept the observed peak suppressed relative to record territory. The only realistic challenges to this resolution would involve post hoc data revisions from the primary reporting station or disputes over the precise geographic boundary defining “Miami,” both of which remain unlikely given standardized verification protocols.
