Recent official forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a high temperature in Beijing on September 7 most likely between 29°C and 31°C, driven by a transition to northeasterly flow and increasing cloud cover ahead of a frontal system bringing rain. This follows several days of warmer conditions near 32°C, with the incoming moisture and wind shift limiting daytime heating below late-summer peaks. Historical climatology shows an average high of 27.9°C for the date, but current guidance from sources like the GFS and regional models clusters around 30°C amid 60-80% precipitation chances. These factors underpin the market's strong weighting toward 30°C and 31°C outcomes, with limited upside risk for extremes given the expected cloudiness and timing of any clearing.
