This market will resolve to "Yes" if RVB LLC, which does business as Wildberries, or any corporate parent, subsidiary, or successor of RVB LLC, announces that it is petitioning or filing for or has filed for bankruptcy of any variety between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. An announcement will suffice for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of if or when the actual filing occurs, or if such a filing or petition is rejected, withdrawn, or otherwise not accepted. The announcement must be made through any of their official or verified channels, as a recorded or written statement by their CEO, legal representation, or other individual or team which officially represents RVB LLC, or through a filing confirmed to be authentic. Announcements that the company is considering bankruptcy, will file depending on the outcome of a subsequent event, or other statements that do not announce that a filing has or will definitively occur will not be sufficient to resolve this market. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from RVB LLC and its authorized representatives, however a wide consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Wildberries, Russia's largest e-commerce platform, has absorbed substantial losses from Ukrainian drone strikes on multiple warehouses in July 2026, destroying roughly 10% of storage capacity and inflicting direct and indirect costs estimated at 150–250 billion rubles, comparable to its 2025 net profit. The company reported heavy short-term borrowing, primarily to state-controlled VTB, and has paused new investments while offering seller support such as fee discounts. Russian authorities have signaled willingness to provide assistance through tax relief, preferential financing, and coordination with VTB, which recently acquired a stake in Wildberries’ banking arm. Traders view these factors, alongside the firm’s scale and role in domestic retail, as significant barriers to a formal bankruptcy filing before 2027.
