Futuro Nazionale has maintained a clear polling lead over Lega in recent surveys, with the new party reaching 7.5–7.9% support while Lega registers 4.4–5.7%. This gap stems from the February 2026 split by former army general Roberto Vannacci, who formed the movement outside the ruling centre-right coalition and has drawn voters focused on stricter immigration controls and national sovereignty priorities. Multiple polls since June confirm the trend, including YouTrend and SWG data showing steady gains for Futuro Nazionale at Lega’s expense. With the next general election scheduled no later than December 2027, traders view these patterns as indicative of structural shifts in the right-wing electorate ahead of the vote.
