Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election features a tight contest for fifth place among smaller parties polling in the 6–8% range. Recent aggregates place the Left Party (V), Centre Party (C), and Green Party (MP) within a few points of one another, while the Christian Democrats (KD) trail slightly behind. The overall left bloc has maintained a narrow edge in most surveys, yet the governing side has narrowed the gap in late-August and early-September polling amid voter focus on the economy, crime, and energy policy. Volatility in these mid-tier parties stems from modest sample-to-sample shifts and potential last-minute tactical movements, leaving traders assigning roughly comparable probabilities to V, C, and MP finishing fifth. Final campaign events or turnout differentials among their respective voter bases could still reorder the standings before election day.
