The Trump administration has directed multiple tranches of UAP files through the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System, waived nondisclosure agreements for whistleblowers cooperating with AARO and related task forces, and advanced legislation such as the Burlison Amendment establishing a UAP records review board and National Archives collection. Congressional hearings and advisory council meetings have highlighted new reports and historical cases, yet agencies continue to state that no verified evidence of non-human intelligence exists. These steps increase transparency and could surface additional data before year-end, but they align with the established pattern of releasing sensor data and records without crossing into formal confirmation, which would require an explicit declaration by the president, cabinet, Joint Chiefs, or a federal agency. Scheduled NDAA consideration and ongoing AARO procurement for historical archives represent the main near-term catalysts that could influence whether any qualifying statement emerges by the resolution deadline.
