**Current ungraded prices for the Squirtle Mega Evolution Promos #039 promo sit around $27–28 on Collectr and secondary trackers, comfortably below the $29.20 threshold and supporting the market’s 75.5% implied probability on “Under.”** The broader Pokémon TCG secondary market has cooled after earlier 2026 highs, with typical late-summer softening in raw promo values amid steady but not surging collector demand. This Squirtle card, part of the recent Mega Evolution Black Star Promos line, lacks immediate catalysts such as new set releases, major social-media spikes, or strong sales volume to push it higher before month-end. Traders appear to be pricing in continued quiet trading and seasonal patterns rather than a rebound, though any late-September collector surge or unexpected hype could still narrow the gap.
