Recent forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and international models indicate a daily minimum around 26–27°C for September 8 under southwest monsoon flow, with afternoon thundery showers possible that could enhance nocturnal cooling through increased cloud cover and localized evaporation. Persistent dry conditions and southeasterly winds may limit rainfall extent, keeping the minimum near or above the long-term September average of 25–26°C, while any haze from regional fires could trap heat and raise overnight lows. Model consensus remains moderate with typical diurnal ranges of 31–34°C highs, leaving room for variance based on exact shower timing and wind shifts ahead of final observations.
