Israeli forces have conducted repeated airstrikes and issued evacuation orders for Tyre and surrounding southern Lebanese areas amid the ongoing Israel-Hezbollah conflict, yet ground operations have focused on expanding a security zone in rural districts and villages such as Al Mansouri rather than entering the Tyre municipality itself. Recent developments include Israeli tanks and bulldozers crossing into Tyre district communities beyond the self-declared yellow line, alongside operations clearing Hezbollah infrastructure on ridges like Ali al-Taher. Ceasefire arrangements have frayed, with continued strikes and incursions in response to Hezbollah activity, though urban ground entry into Tyre remains constrained by tactical considerations, civilian presence, and diplomatic pressures. Trader consensus assigns low probability to near-term entry, reflecting the pattern of peripheral advances over direct city occupation.
