Recent opinion polls project The Democrats, the Labor-Meretz merger led by Yair Golan, in the 8-11 seat range for the October 27 Knesset election, aligning with trader pricing that clusters around the 8-9 and 10-11 bands. The party's July primaries produced a broad slate with high membership turnout, yet competition from Yashar and Together for overlapping centrist and anti-incumbent voters has capped projected gains. Opposition fragmentation, turnout among swing blocs, and unresolved list alliances ahead of the September 8 submission deadline sustain the tight distribution across mid-range outcomes while limiting upside scenarios.
