Recent polls for Berlin’s September 20 state election show CDU, Linke, AfD, and Grüne clustered within a few points of one another, creating a fluid contest for second place behind the likely leader. Trader pricing reflects this narrow spread, with CDU holding the highest implied probability at 36.5 percent, followed by AfD and Linke. Late August surveys from Infratest dimap and INSA placed CDU narrowly ahead or tied, while earlier Forsa and Civey readings favored Linke. The SPD’s persistently low support and the exclusion of AfD from coalitions further compress options for second. Any final-week polling movement, turnout shifts among younger voters now eligible at 16, or last-minute campaign events could reorder the middle of the field before ballots close.
