Morgan Stanley holds the dominant position in the implied probabilities for leading Anthropic’s IPO due to its role heading the company’s recently expanded $15 billion revolving credit facility and its reported selection as lead-left bookrunner. Recent reports indicate the bank has led pricing discussions with investors ahead of a potential mid-October marketing launch, while Goldman Sachs is positioned for the stabilization agent role, supporting its secondary standing. JPMorgan and Citigroup maintain supporting involvement tied to their credit commitments, but smaller participants show negligible traction. The credit facility structure, modeled on precedents like SpaceX, serves as an early indicator of underwriting hierarchy ahead of the confidential S-1 filing and roadshow. Trader consensus reflects these established relationships and execution momentum in a high-profile AI listing.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
