This market will resolve to "Yes" if Bloomberg L.P. completes an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by the listed date ET, as confirmed by official company announcements and credible news sources. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The IPO refers to the first sale of stock or equivalent ownership units by the listed company to the public on any recognized stock exchange. Bloomberg L.P. includes any successor, parent, or newly formed entity through which the Bloomberg business is listed. If Bloomberg is acquired by another company that is already public, this market will immediately resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market is a consensus of credible reporting.Recent reports of preliminary discussions between Bloomberg LP executives and investment bankers about a potential IPO or strategic transaction surfaced in late July 2026, but the company quickly issued a statement emphasizing that founder Michael Bloomberg retains majority control and has no plans to sell. With the 84-year-old majority owner directing transfers of shares toward his philanthropy, the firm’s structure and leadership priorities continue to favor remaining private over pursuing a public listing. No official announcements, filings, or confirmed timelines have followed, leaving trader sentiment anchored to the absence of credible catalysts amid a broader wave of AI and data-related IPOs elsewhere.
