**Yashar, the centrist party launched in September 2025 by former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot, has climbed steadily in 2026 polling and frequently leads or ties Likud at 22–25 projected seats.** Recent surveys from July–September show it drawing support from voters dissatisfied with the governing coalition’s handling of security and governance issues since the October 7 attacks, while the broader Zionist opposition bloc hovers near but short of a 61-seat majority without Arab parties. Fragmentation among opposition lists—including Together (Bennett-Lapid) and smaller centrist or right-leaning entrants—keeps individual tallies volatile and prevents any single party from pulling decisively ahead. Threshold dynamics, potential late alliances, and security or economic developments in the final weeks before the October 27 election remain the main variables that could widen or narrow Yashar’s seat range in trader assessments.
