Yashar, the centrist party founded by former IDF chief Gadi Eisenkot in September 2025, has climbed steadily in opinion polls ahead of the October 27 Knesset election, frequently matching or surpassing Likud at 21-24 seats while the opposition Zionist bloc hovers near or above 60. Recent surveys through early September show Yashar averaging 22-24 seats amid ongoing security debates, coalition fatigue, and competition from the Bennett-Lapid Together alliance, with smaller right-wing lists and threshold dynamics affecting seat distribution. Traders assign the highest probability to 30+ seats, reflecting scenarios where Eisenkot consolidates centrist and security-focused voters, though narrower outcomes around 24-27 remain competitive given polling margins and potential last-minute shifts from events like candidate list finalization or regional developments.
