Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar have repeatedly reaffirmed GTA 6's November 19, 2026 release through earnings calls, shareholder letters, and developer statements, with CEO Strauss Zelnick linking the date to fiscal 2027 financial targets and pre-order momentum. Pre-orders opened globally in June, an extended in-game Netflix showcase aired in August, and Rockstar North's Rob Nelson confirmed in late August that the title will launch on schedule. These signals, combined with the short runway to launch and Rockstar's quality-focused history, underpin the market's strong "No" consensus. A late-stage issue forcing another delay remains possible but appears unlikely without new evidence of setbacks.
