This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Arkansas. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Arkansas, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The non-competitive dynamics of the 2026 Arkansas U.S. Senate race, with incumbent Republican Tom Cotton holding a substantial lead over Democrat Hallie Shoffner, anchor trader expectations for moderate total ballots cast. Historical midterm turnout in the state has clustered near 900,000 votes amid a registered voter base of roughly 1.8 million, shaped by voter ID rules, limited same-day registration, and rural demographics that often suppress participation. The spread across leading brackets from 750K-975K reflects uncertainty over get-out-the-vote intensity, any concurrent ballot measures, and national midterm conditions that could either boost or dampen engagement. Developments such as heightened campaign spending on mobilization, shifts in early or absentee voting rates, or unexpected registration surges could widen separation among the top outcomes before November 3.
